Allison and James are a dream couple to photograph. They hired me to shoot their wedding and their package also included an engagement session among a few other sessions. I love doing an engagement session for my wedding clients because it gives us a little time to get to know each other, they get more comfortable with me and how I shoot and I learn extra little details about their lives.
I LOVE the story of how this super cute and fun couple met. They met on Match.com. Simple enough, yeah? Well, they just so happened to also be living in the same apartment complex the whole time, and had no idea! Personally, I’d probably be a little freaked out by that point, but not these two. They went with it and this goes to show that you CAN find love with a little help of the world wide web and I cannot wait until their wedding day next year. They are both so kind and patient. They love to joke around and laugh and I can tell they are truly, 100% themselves with each other, and are loved by the other for it.
Allison and James, thank you so much for this opportunity. I cannot wait to work together over the next year leading up to your big day and I adore you both. You were an absolute charm to work with, hang out with and converse with. You both have hearts of gold and I wish you nothing but the absolute best!
We first met up at the Proximity Hotel in Greensboro, NC. Not only is this hotel exquisite with attention paid to every detail, but it’s also the greenest hotel in the United States which makes it extra cool! James and Allison showed up looking classy as ever and I have to say, I LOVE it when the men are excited about the shoot and show up and work it out along side their ladies!
They seriously looked like models but I promise they are a real life couple!

I adore this shot!

We then went to the Bicentennial Park in Greensboro. The weather could not have been more perfect and lots of people were out, but they didn’t seem to mind.

Probably my favorite shot of the day.

How precious is this?!

I loved how the light flowed through this little nook in the trees.

I leave you with this simple but beautiful depiction of their love.
