Whew! I apologize for the lack of updates here! I promise it’s not because I’m lazy or slacking, but instead because I’m been super busy shooting boudoir sessions. Hop on over to Simply-Boudoir to check them out if interested!
I am finally able to backtrack a little (OK, a lot) to some shoots I have done over the past few months. On top of being busy shooting boudoir sessions, I have also been talking to future brides and booking weddings for next year! I took a break from them this year and am still being very picky about the ones I shoot next year, but I am really excited about the upcoming weddings and super beautiful brides!
Since weddings have been at the forefront a lot lately, I thought I’d edit a shoot I did earlier this year. You may remember the casting call I did for a free makeover from my MUA for her portfolio and to showcase our work as a new team. Bethany was one of the beautiful ladies chosen and I asked her to bring along her wedding gown so we could take some bridal photos. She looked stunning and I loved the simplicity yet glamorous look of her makeup, hair and wedding dress. Here are a few of my favorites!
Unfortunately, it rained all morning long, so we had to stay around the salon/house. Thank goodness for a beautiful wrap around porch, though!

I LOVE the mixture of tungsten and natural lighting. Since I shoot natural light, the overcast day was perfect. In all of the following shots, Bethany was lit from the front by natural light while tungsten light flowed around her in the back.

So elegant and classy!

I love the copper makeup and simply jewelry.
