It’s St. Patrick’s Day again, and while this holiday doesn’t mean much to me personally, I love seeing people get into the festive mood.  Not the one where it’s just another excuse to get drunk – but going all out wearing green.  Fun makeup, clothes, jewelry – I’ve seen it all today.

I worked out with my sister this evening, came home and had a salad and went through some photos from the past year or so.  Picked out ones in which some ladies were wearing green and thought it might make for a cool post!  Green never really stuck out to me as a pretty color until I got older.  When I started finding pretty rings with amazing green set stones, or super fun green eye shadows.  I still only have a few green articles of clothing, but I love wearing green eye shadow and jewelry.  The eyeshadow can look tacky if not done properly, but the jewelry can go with just about anything and any color.  Yay for accessorizing!

I hope everyone stays safe tonight, and here are a few images of some pretty ladies wearing green!

We’ve had a pretty harsh winter here in North Carolina and we fared pretty well, especially with that nasty flu that was going around.  Now that the weather is changing, though, I’ve been feeling a little off.  Don’t get me wrong, I am SO ready for the warm weather to make it’s way to us.  I am ready for things to start blooming, to hear the birds singing every morning and to be able to walk around comfortably outside.  I’m just feeling a little more tired and generally not feeling well for the past few days.

I’m also a little burned out on hot lattes and would like some iced ones for a change.  ;)

While Mother Nature does her thing, I am busy shooting and editing and trying to get my head back on track.  Heather Foster, my MUA, and myself are going to be doing a video FAQ next week.  We need everyone to submit your questions you may have to either of us (about makeup, shooting, makeup before a shoot, what makeup adds to a shoot, etc..) so we can answer them for you on video.  Feel free to ask as many questions as you’d like and we’ll answer as many as we can without being too boring and looking too goofy.  Just leave them in the comments below.

And because posts are better with photos, here’s a little Spring-time inspiration to hold us over until Spring is officially here.
