Brandi Bee; Anytime!

Meet the lovely Brandi Bee, and welcome her to the South! She recently moved to Winston Salem, NC from Los Angeles, California and besides her learning curve from “purse” to “pocket book”, as we say here in the South, you’d never know she was from the West Coast! She rocked this shoot, was comfortable in her own (beautiful and flawless) skin and we had a lot of fun. I can’t wait to spend more time together and build a friendship and learn more about her as a person, as she was full of knowledge and plenty of fun to spend time with.

I had an idea to shoot a new-age “hippie” theme - and she was more than happy to oblige. We went from hippie to full-on southern mode in a matter of seconds and she didn’t think twice about her confidence or how she’d hold up. Brandi, you are amazing and beautiful and I cannot wait to hang out and take plenty more of fun photos to document this change and time in your life!

Now, meet Brandi, welcome her to the south and enjoy the photos below!

We started out with her amazingly beautiful and vintage furniture! As soon as I walked in and saw this chair, I KNEW it had to be featured in her photos!

So new-age and stunning!

Does she not look like a natural, beautiful, southern girl? :) She SO pulls it off!

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of meeting with a local model for a shoot. I had a few ideas in mind, though I wasn’t sure if they would be executed like I had imaged them. I made her birds nest veil the night before and I think she pulled it off perfectly.  We went to a couple of different locations, tried a couple of different ideas, made up a few new ones along the way and I think it’s safe to say we’re both more than happy with the outcome.

Natalia was very easy to work with and knew exactly what she was doing. She was comfortable in her own skin and very kind and smart to boot. She was up for pretty much any idea I had and didn’t let the passing traffic take her attention away from the camera.

Thanks again, Natalia, and I can’t wait to shoot again!
