Old School House
July 19, 2008 | Filed in: Nature, Personal update

I have been a busy bee working on wedding photos between normal work and trying to get some things online to sell. In the midst of all of this, though, something a little sad is happening.

This is an old 2 room schoolhouse from the early-mid 1800s that sits near my home. It was once full of old magazines, news paper, coin books, movie reels and typewriters. Over time those things have been disappearing (though I do admit to grabbing a few old news papers and magazines before it was too late) and a group of locals has decided to move the school house to a nearby park for restoration.

While I am happy it will be restored, it will be a little sad to not see the old schoolhouse every day when I leave or come home, as I have for the past 20 years.

These are both really great. I especially like the processing you did on them. :) It really suits them and doesn’t take away at all.
